CHE LINGO DARK DAYS (FEAT. KOJEY RADICAL)

The latest track from Che Lingo is a truly impressive piece of modern hip-hop. An opening violin solo could take ‘Dark Days’ in just about any direction, but that first snare hit sets us up for the funky depth the rest of the track presents. The drums and bass are beautifully late on the beat, with a harp, flute and that angelic violin adding an impressive depth. Lingo demonstrates his seamless ability to shift from lyrical singing to powerful rap, but it’s London’s Kojey Radical who really impresses with his deep flow, starting out goosebump-inducingly a cappella. Be on the lookout for more from both of these exciting artists. -Dan Peeke
